I vacillate between this and The Big Lebowski. They’re both Desert Island movies for me, though. Which is when I realize, maybe I don’t need a favorite Coen Brothers movie. Maybe pregnant Frances McDormand and perpetually stoned Jeff Bridges are created equal.

Definitely my two favorite Coen Brothers films.
